The Altar Flower Guild is responsible for arranging fresh flowers at the main altar to enhance our worship.
Flowers are arranged every week of the year except during Lent and Advent and are often given in memory of a loved one. They can be arranged by the donor or by a member of the flower team if they prefer. Donations to cover the cost of the flowers are most welcome.
Many members of the congregation give money towards the Easter lilies in memory of a loved one. If you wish to contribute in this way please contact the Parish Office.
The church is decorated for the major festivals at Christmas and Harvest time and we also decorate the church for weddings if requested.
We organise periodic Flower Festivals. The most recent was in June 2013 on the theme 'I have a dream ...' which celebrated the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's famous speech from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington. See Photos for views of the inspirational designs.
