PARISH ROOM
"The Parish Room is an amazing space, for both regular hire and single hire. We've had many parties and been to many events here - it's a great part of the social life of the church."
The Parish Room at St John's is available for hire and is used by a wide range of groups from toddlers to arts classes and is popular for children's parties, celebration lunches, funeral teas and bridge drives. If you have any enquires please contact us!
The main access to the Parish Room involves several short flights of steps. An alternative route is provided using a steeply sloping path accessed from Main Street, opposite the Menston Arms. Wheelchair users may require additional assistance (eg a healthy carer) when accessing the Parish Room via this path, which is appropriate for an electric wheelchair. Refurbishments took place in 2011 when the room was re-painted and new curtains added.

Facilities
The room is 10m x 9m (approx 30 feet x 27 feet), has full central heating and can comfortably seat 60 people at tables. It can be divided into two smaller rooms if required. The toilets have level access and one is fully adapted for use by people with disabilities.
It has a well equipped kitchen, with double sink, gas cooker with double oven, hot water boiler and kettles, fridge, dishwasher, wine glasses, crockery and cutlery. There is no additional charge for use of the kitchen.
