In 2016, A Rocha launched the Eco Church programme, designed to motivate and resource churches to care for God's earth as part of their everyday work and witness. In 2019, St Jon's achieved an Eco church Bronze award that signals that we take environmental issues seriously and want to make a difference.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Eco Church initiative, Eco Church invite you to a special online service on Friday 26th March to celebrate and pray for the next phase of our work together. If you are interested in attending, register here via Eventbrite.
If you cannot join the service, please join us in private prayer to thank God for the contribution Eco Church has made so far in helping churches care for creation more effectively; and for wisdom and guidance for the staff and core volunteers leading it forward.
