The church is 150 years old this year. 1871 was also the year that Alice Through The Looking Glass was first published so Steve and Elaine thought it would be fitting to beat the bounds (i.e. walk the parish boundary, some 12 miles) in Alice in Wonderland fancy dress to raise money for the Church Roof Appeal. The walk was a great success - thank you to everyone who donated!
